If you are doing renders you might want to jump up to Ivy Bridge-E, do you have a particular budget?

Or the 8350. Be cheaper then the 3770/4770/IB-E CPUs.

If he does the rendering for a professional application he will want the added bonus for not just the CPU but the platform as a whole, quad channel memory with up to 8 sticks of RAM for enough to get RAM-disks as scratch space and cache for applications to speed up the pipeline, the motherboards throughout the platform have great features and are of higher quality than most Z77 and Z87, more PCI lanes, more SATA, etc.

I agree with the Quad-Channel RAM but Intel chipsets have fewer PCI and PCI-Express lanes than the AMD 9xx chipsets.

Not to mention what you are talking about is very high end. We don't get many of those here.

For those uses you oughta go with an i7-4770 (K model, if you wanna overclock):

How about Intel 4670K i5 is it a good processor or should i go for Intel i5 3570k..

It depends, you should look into Haswell's benefits and restrictions, personally I'd go with Ivy Bridge, as they run cooler and better to over clock (Just from personal experience)

Both are fine. Personally I'd pick the cheaper 3570k and spend more on the GPU which will provide more notable benefits to gaming
