My rig is:

AMD Fx 6300
MSI 970A-g43
Kingston Hyperx blu 8gb
Corsair cx 500
WD blue 1tb
Asus gtx 760

My cpu temps at idle is around 30-45C and at load it is around 60-68C Is this normal or should i get a cpu cooler asap ?

Those temps are pretty high for the 6300. They would be safe for an Intel processor, but the FX series does not play nicely with temperatures higher than ~60C. A CPU cooler would be a very good idea, because your current temperatures COULD lower the life of your CPU. It would still probably last for quite a few years, but it isn't worth the risk. This is a great cooler for the price, if it will fit in your case:

That isn't true. According to intel, the i7-4770K maxes out at around 67C. However, in stress testing, it doesn't throttle until you reach around 85C.

That isn't really true either. Core Temp is what matters most, as the cores are doing all the heavy lifting. So if the core temp is at 70C, for an AMD CPU, you are in trouble.

No, core temp is measured by physical sensors, so it is not a calculation, but a hard measurement. This makes it a very valid factor.

first of all every cpu has its own limits and you can not compare them.if you block your fan you will see the t junction will change.
core temp is a program that access the temperature reading in your BIOS which is the most accurate.

this was the argument here.
his temps are fine if you disagree go educate your self's
he does not need a cpu cooler.his stock cooler is meant to provide the best temps for the cpu.
and if someone wants to argue with this why did inlet trim the stock coolers that come with modern possessors.
1.half the materials needed to produce a heat sink
2.the CPU did not produce heat as old generations
3. you will find that if you by a Pentium the heat sink is fully aluminum with a i5 the core is copper all cpu have nearly the same temperature when operating.

You are comparing two very different CPUs. High temperatures are ABSOLUTLEY fine...for Intel CPUs (which happened to be the only thing you mentioned). For AMD CPU's, such as the one in question, should not be running nearly as hot as the equivalent intel. The reason intel CPU's run hotter is because they use TIM on the CPU instead of Fluxless Solder. This makes thermal conductivity less efficient, and make the job harder for the CPU cooler. However, intel CPU's are DESIGNED to run hotter, so this isn't really an issue. AMD, on the other hand, does not play nicely with high temperatures, and will likely throttle when you get past the 65C mark. As for the claim that the stock CPU cooler is automatically sufficient for the CPU just because it shipped with it, it is once again false. The stock CPU is free, made with very cheap materials that are designed to be "just enough". So contrary to your claim, I am fairly educated on the topic, however I stand behind my claim that his temps are NOT fine.

that are designed to be "just enough''
if he is not planing to overclock he does not need a better cooler.
even i don't like the stock coolers of amd.
cpu have a slight tolorence. his max temps are 68 at full load but doese not always reach those temps his idle temps are betwene 30-45.
beacause whatever is say someone will call it false.i found this article that should clear the problem.

There are conflicting reports on the TjMax for the FX-6300 but this temp is of no concern as you should not be operating your CPU at this temp. TjMax is NOT the 24/7 operating temp for the CPU. AFAIK the max 24/7 temp for the FX-6300 is 70C. For the 8-core FX processors it's 61C. So all you care about is that your FX-6300 doesn't exceed 70C under max load, which it should not with proper cooling.

man u confused me even more, so wht do u think i should do now ?
get a cooler or not plz elaborate, im not getting any upgrades in the near future
