I have two 256Gb SSD's. One is a OCZ and the other is a Crucial SSD. Being they are from different companys can you still install them in RAID 0? I ran a Crystal Mark test and the read and writes are at different speeds. I am thinking that if I went to RAID 0 then the SSD's should be the same make and size?? Any thoughts out there.

If you absolutely had to raid 0 two hard drives I would make sure they are the same make and model. You may want to ask yourself if you really need to RAID those two drives, I advice against it unless you are doing something specific that would benefit from it. You lose trim capability and run the risk if one drive fails you lose everything.

Just one thought I had. Being I already had two 256 SSD's I thought it would be cheaper to RAID 0 the drives then to buy a new 480 or 512Gb SSD. Being both of my SSD's are not made by the same company I will nix the idea. Thanks for your input..
