Hi. Usually that message is saying that you are trying to boot to something that doesn't have the OS. You need to go into the BiOS and set your boot device to the Drive that has your Operating System installed.

i guess my os was in my Hard disk.. and i tried setting my boot device to HDD but the message still occur every time i turned on my pc..

my system unit don't have a dvdrom... im planning to get a dvd rom.. if im going to put the disc (new os) on it and set my boot device to dvd/cd .. do you think it will work?
  3. If you don't have an Optical drive, how are you going to install the OS? It should work though.

  5. Okay. With a second hand Machine, that is usually the best way to go and just start fresh.
