Hi,
I have a intel core 2 duo e8400 cpu right now. I also have the asus b5q-e motherboard and 2x2 4gb ddr2 ram.
I am looking to upgrade to the intel core i7 4770 processor and 2x4gb ddr3 ram. And gettting the Asus b85m-g motherboard. But everyone keeps saying i have to upgrade my power supply. Do i have too? Because i just upgraded my video card from a nvidia geforce gtx 260 to a nvidia geforce gtx 660. And it worked fine. And ps i dont know how much power supply i have.

For the upgrade you have mentioned, the minimum power you'll be needing is a decent 450-500 watt psu.
