My mouses commands are being recieved 0.5 seconds later instead of instantly. I have a very good computer (16gb RAM, Radeon HD 7950, intel 3570), and I'm not using any USB extensions or anything.. Its really disturbing, as getting rid of the lag seems to randomly happen if I swap between different windows enough (normally Task Manager works the best). Help?

Have you tested your mouse on another computer to make sure that there is nothing wrong with it? What monitor are you using? If your on a TV check to see if it has a game mode, it will take out the lag in your mouse movement.
For clarity, I have a Steelseries Ikari, I use a Benq GL2450 screen, I use a Caviar Blue 500 Gb hard drive (about a year old, but its running fine still) and I have windows 8. I don't think its anything big, as nothing else lags, and I can have multiple programs open without lag, its just the mouse moving as though its a cheap chinese wireless mouse from the '80s.
