I've recently bought a new case (CiT Vantage Type-R Gaming Case) for my custom built PC because my old one was cheap and low quality and I just wanted an upgrade but that's beside the point. I took all the parts out of the old case and carefully assembled them into the new one and it was all set up. I pressed the power button and the thing doesn't make a single sound. I even tried bridging the two power pins with a screwdriver to try and do it without the button on the case but that didn't work either. So I decided to take out all the parts and try to breadboard it on the box my motherboard came in. Graphics Card, CPU and RAM all installed, I try to turn it on and strangely the fans spin up and their is a display on the monitor. So I put all the components back in the case thinking it will work now but theres still nothing happening but what confused me was that the standby light on the motherboard was on while it was in the case so there is power running through it but nothing will turn on. Could the case be the problem? The problem definitely isn't the components since it was all running fine an hour before in the old case. My motherboard is an ASUS F2 A55-M LE. Please help. Thanks.
