I read in a user review (Amazon or Newegg) that cards need to be returned to China for warranty claims, and the cost was prohibitive. Is this true? I see this on their site:
For any overseas return on RMA outside their normal warranty with their local supplier, the local RMA centre will apply a basic administration fee to cover the logistics return of the RMA items back and forth from Hong Kong.
What does that mean?
I can get a Square Trade warranty for $20-25 but I'm not sure if they would make me go to Sapphire first.
Anybody shed any light on this?
If it matters, I'm looking at their plain 7950 (11196-19-20G) card.
As always, thanks for the help.
