is ASROCK 970 extreme 3 good or does it have many issues?
if it is having trouble pls suggest me some good MOBO around the same budget of this.

Granted, a BIOS update may be needed for certain FX CPUs, but there aren't "lots of better motherboards" for the price, especially not MSI.

If i am to pick fx 6300 ,do you think asrock 970 extreme 3 is the best choice or MSI 970A G46 still beats it ?

thnx for your suggestion

Where are you getting your facts? I use an ASRock Extreme 3 board and it overclocks perfectly, never had a problem. I've never heard anyone so down on ASRock mobos and overclocking, so maybe you can clear that up.

It only takes a little reading on pretty much any tech forum to find that MSI boards are far too hit or miss to bother with. I haven't seen the same for supposed ASRock board issues.

I've seen no problems OCing on the Rock and that's been with a variety of CPUs, the MSI on the other hand, I've seen numerous problems (basically with all their mobos, it's like they never check any of them and rely on their name for sales.....which may well be why sales have been slipping every year for about 5 years now ;) )

Dont really never get the MSI board! 5min video rendering and you can enjoy a dead CPU+board! Also the as rock is known for some problems. I'd recommend you a Asus m5a97 r2.0 or a gigabyte 970-ud3

Guys, we aren't comparing brands here.
We are comparing products.

Yes, most asrock motherboards are good for overclocking.
The 970/990FX extreme3 are not.
They are also not good for high wattage CPU's.
Their VRM's overheat and they throttle.

As for the MSI board, it's the cheapest alternative that will run a FX 8320.

But, if you can afford to spend a little more, you might as well buy the ASUS M5A97 R2.0.
The LE version might also do the job.
As for the Gigabyte, it's even better.
But it's also considerably more expensive.
At that price, 110 MB + 150 CPU, you can almost get a Xeon E3 1230 V3 + H87 motherboard or a Xeon E3 1230 V2 + H77 which are in a completely different league.
