So I'm in the market for getting a new gpu. The ones I've come to mind are AMD's R9-280x and Nvidia's gtx 770.
I want to cf/sli which ever card I end up with as I want to get a 2560x1440 monitor currently using a benq xl2420t but I might just stick with it as I do love playing competitively(fps) and 120hz is the sweet spot..
well here's two cards I'm aiming for and I just need some opinions.
gtx 770

AMD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121803
Or any other suggestions and yes I would like a 4gb 770. Newer games could be using more than 2gb vram
Thanks!

Nice! Thanks to all for the quick replies!
Well I'm leaning towards the 280x for its price/performance. What's the power requirements for crossfire? Should it be the same as the ghz edition? Has anyone seen the xfx 280x? It looks like a great card but I've read several reviews on 7970's from them and they have some pretty bad ones.

Yeah I've seen that one but I would rather go with asus for the price. I'm sure I'll be good to go with my psu, it's a seasonic 1050W x series....
Would anyone recommend going with a 2560x1440 monitor vs a benq xl2420t 120hz monitor(currently have this one)
