Downloaded Free Trial, now what?

In order to get my parallels software package working on my mac, the tech downloaded a 30 day free trial of Windows Ultimate 64bit. He told me to simply go out and buy this version of Windows and all I would have to do is enter the product key that comes with that product. But since I'm not techie, I've gotten confused and am not sure what the best way to do this is? Can I purchase a product key online and use that? Do I have to actually physically purchase the DVD?
Thanks for any help! I want to make sure I do this right and legally!

the $30 dollar version is not gonna be a legit copy. try microsoft or some other reputable supplier, such as amazon. microsoft does not sell just a key,but rather the boxed set. like was already mentioned i would get the dvd.
