Recently i purchased a new board for Crossfire (amd 7970 & amd R9 280x). while i'm confident that crossfire alone won't fully saturate PCI 2.0 8x/8x, i feel that my sound card (HT omega claro+) might over do it. Can anyone confirm my suspicions? Note* i am using a i7 2600k so PCI 3.0 is not an option.
Also as a off topic question, can anyone provide pictures of this board with crossfire (or sli) and PCI sound card ( or and pci x1 card). Just so i can get an idea of what issues i could run into.
