Microphone stopped working, found it out when i tried to make a call on Skype, until then it always worked properly.
I fiddled with settings and even tested another microphone which didn't work as well.

I reinstalled windows completely, installed up to date drivers for motherboard and everything else I use regularly but nothing helped.

I tried all the tricks i found online:
put mic volume to full and add 20dB boost,
"seperate all input jacks as independent input devices" in realtek audio manager,
disabled front input jacks,
deleted realtek audio manager and tried using microphone with basic microsoft drivers,
nothing worked.

If i turn on playback for microphone I can hear static. Even when playback is turned off it is possible to record "noise" by moving microphone around or touching it.

This computer had windows vista/7 and 8 installed and everything (except front audio panel that pretty much never worked) worked fine till yesterday.

I'm not sure but I think that my sound card is integrated so I'm asking if there is something i could try other than buying new motherboard?

Dude im sorry to say this, but i think that the microphone port on your mobo is not working, did you maybe try using a usb microphone, cause its definitely not the driver, and definitely not the microphone if you tried 2 of them, if you know somebody that has a usb microphone, try that out, if it works you'll know for sure.
