Hi guys a few questions please.

I want to buy a high res 30 inch monitor that will play things like Total War Rome II, Crysis etc. at maxed out settings, including antialiasing at preferably 60 fps.

I have just returned an AMD 7990 because of the SLi issues and the AMD 7970 GHz Edition I`m using now is also going back because of issues with that too.

I have used Nvidia based cards since the dawn of gaming and never ever had problems with them so thought I`d go back after my disastrous time I`ve had with these two AMD cards.

I just want a single card (no sli) on a single 30 inch monitor, or 27, 28 inch if you feels that would be better. No 3d just boring old 2d.

Novatech in the UK have very kindly said I can have any card I want (NOT a Titian) and looking at the threads it appears the Zotec 780 comes out best on all the tests.

I`m running a ROG Maximus IV Extreem Z MB. 16gb Corsair Vengeance RAM & an i7 3770 CPU
Hanns G 27 inch monitor @ 1920 x 1200

Gaming only with no other applications. I just want to look in wonder at the screen and the detail!

Thanks guys and would truly appreciate some guidance and suggestions on both these components please.

I would take a look at the korean 1440p and 1600p monitors on ebay. They are much cheaper than what you can get over here currently with some drawbacks but for the money they are pretty sweet. Take a look at brands like yamakasi, Qnix, Xstar, shimian.

EDIT-- I am currently using a Qnix matte 1440p monitor and it's amazing, got it on ebay for $310. Same if not better quality than the apple thunderbolt display I have at work.
