The 3D IPS monitor should have better colors than the second one, it has a slower response time but unless your a professions FPS gamer I don't think you will notice the difference.

If it was me I would look for an IPS monitor non-3D just because I think it's a bit gimmicky and a waste of money, plus it gives me headaches, but if you like it go for it.

I'm not interested in 3D , But.. after some researches , My choice will be the
ASUS VG23AH 23" 5ms
Looks like the diff between 2ms and 5ms isn't even noticeable !
IPS is way better than TN ( low end ) in many things
23" will do the job very well for me =)
