Nvidia GTX 770 4GB SLI for 5760x1080 gaming?

I have $850 for grapics cards to run my 5760x1080 set up. My question is...will the 770 sli 4gb be enough to run latest titles at highest settings(maybe lowering down AA) and get solid 60fps? Will the 256 bit bus bottleneck the card at 5760? I don't want to crossfire any cards, I have had horrible experiences with crossfire. I actually just sold a pair of 7950s.
My options are 770 4gb SLI or R9-290X.

You should get better results from the 770 SLI versus a single 290x, I'm not surprised you got bad results with crossfire because their frame pacing solution is only for single monitors up to 1600p. I can't guarantee you will stay pegged at 60fps with that setup and resolution but for the money it's probably your best option.
