Hello everyone, I have a 2xHD6970 on crossfire, and when running single card I get smother graphics then in crossfire. In crossfire I got 60fps constantly dropping to 25-29fps. Single card about 35 stable.

BIOS: default on everything except CPU ( locked on crazy giving me 3.5ghz instead of factory 3.0ghz)

My pc:
Intel qx9650 (running at 3.5ghz, mb overclocked on liquid)
Asus Rampage Extreme socket 775 (liquid cooled) (http://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/RAMPAGE_EXTREME/)
8gb Corsair XMS 3 (ddr 3 1333)
2xhd6970
SDD 256 Kingston
PSU 850W

Please help, seems like I have wasted lots of money for poor performance.
Main game I play BF3-BF4(beta)

hey serg,

im gonna guess that its the CF drivers, and i would suggest upgrading your cpu if you can it would help a bit in games. If you cant fix it (to lazy to wait for drivers) rma your card or sell both and get a 7970 or r9 280x.

It is latest AMD driver 13.11, I run Catalyst. Enabled crossfire in gaming section added more speed to cooling fans so temp stay under 60Cº, but still it runs like crap on crossfire. So from the look on my setup it should run properly! Is it a hardware or software issue?

my best guess is it's a software problem :c.... If you're not sure you could just test each of the cards on their own and see if they give you good frames, if so then you know for sure that's it's a software problem.
