Ok, so basically I'm having a problem stabilizing my p.c. I understand that I may need to do some fine tuning for the 1600 corsair to work with my setup, and I'm hoping someone can help me out.

Currently it is running at ddr1333 1.71v
Other than that I left bios on auto.

Given my setup. Can anyone help me with some tips to stabilize this. I believe the problems are timing of the new ram with it. Previously I had 2x2gb of the corsair xms3 with 1x2gb super talent (ddr31333 (wa133ux6g8)

From my understanding, the super talent would have tuned back the other sticks to work together correct? If so, how do I do that myself to the 4 sticks of corsair to make this stable. Thank you in advance for any help. I really appreciate it.

For 4 sticks the Athlon II x4 is rated for 800 or 1066, if at 1333, that's pretty good, although don't like 1.7 for DRAM voltage, might try raising the CPU/NB voltage to 1.25 and see if you can drop DRAM voltage to 1.65 or even better 1.6....if the sticks are a recent purchase would exchange for better sticks, 2x2GB 1333 1.5 or so, absolutely no need for a barebone basic 1GB stick of 1600 to need 1.65, it's indicative of weak memory ICs....

My apologies, I put all my system specs into my profile so I thought it would show. Anyway I have

Asus m4a785td-m evo mobo
Amd athlon 2 x 4 (I'll double check speed when I get home but I put it in my profile)
Ocz vector 128 g ssd
Gtx 650 ti boost 2gb (evga)
And the ram I'm trying to use now is the corsair xms3 1600 4x2g

If this is your memory, it should be running at 1.65V. What is your stabilization problem? It should run at the CPU's default memory controller speed unless you O/C it with the BIOS. Are you mixing memory or are you using all four sticks as matched?

I've had it running at 1.7 since I started this thread. Multiple boots, fresh win 7 install (64 bit) and installed wow. So far, stable. Will there be a problem if I run it at this voltage continually? Should I try goring back to auto?

I appreciate the help a lot tradesman. Would you be able to recommend a set of sticks that would work well with my rig, and are good for gaming? I have plenty of airflow so heat hasn't been a problem so far.
