During games and sometimes videos my screen will freeze and the audio will keep going although distorted. The only way so fix it is to hold the power button for 5 seconds and restart my computer. I have checked my temps and they are all fine.

CPU: AMD FX 6300
GPU: MSI GTX 660
RAM: 2x4 gb of kingston hyperx
MOBO: Asrock 970 extreme
PSU: Corsair cx500
Hard Drive: WD Blue 1TB
Window 8.1 preveiw
I am using the latest drivers for 8.1.
Any ideas on what's causing this to crash?

Sounds like a heat problem. Check the heatsink on the CPU and make sure that there is enough thermal paste.

I found out what is is. It turns out it was my wireless network card. I started using Ethernet and it stopped. Used WiFi and it started again. I'm 99.921735% sure that was the problem. Either way now it's fixed.
