So with some of the new games that have come out lately i have had a little problem with frame rate. I dont know if it is just because the cpu is bottle necking my gpu or that my gpu is just isnt strong enough. So when i run most of my games that actually demand something from the computer the cpu is running at like 70% to 100% while my gpu is running at 20% to 30%. My cpu is an AMD A10-5700 and my gpu is a Radeon HD 7850. the build is a stock hp model p7-1451 with a graphics card thrown in and a more powerful power supply and the stock 8 Gb of ram.

The games i really have a problem with frame rate are that i get like 15-25 fps with
Battlefield 4(i know it still needs optimization)
Assassins Creed 3
Metro Last Light
tomb raider(sometimes)
and some other games i cant think of...

Just really need to know if its either the cpu or gpu so i can possibly upgrade.

Help would be really appreciated

Your socket is fm2 but you will have to ck with the hp website for cpu upgrade options. Best you can hope for is a 760k. Check the bios for overclocking options or even a way to turn turbo core off.

Only faster chip your system supports is a 5800k. That really won't help you any. Your best option would be to get a new case, motherboard, cpu and reuse DVD, HDD, ram, PSU, and GPU.
