Hey guys, so here is the story.
I've been building a computer over a month now ( it took this long because some parts came DoA so i had to RMA and then wait) and today i finally had everything together, i hit the power button and the computer will turn on for literally a split second and then power off.
I've been told this is probably either a motherboard issue or a power supply issue. Firstly, 2 weeks ago i RMA'd the power supply which was dead, and put in another PSU to make sure the motherboard, GPU, RAM and everything were working, and they were.
Now two weeks later, i got my new PSU i plug everything in again, and this time the computer will turn on for a split second and then off, i tried putting the PSU from my old computer into this one, and the exact same thing.
Just to add, i dont know if this really says anything... but if i power the computer with just the motherboard cable connected, it will turn on and maintain power....... but if the CPU connector cables are in, it will not work. Could it be a CPU problem or maybe the cpu cooler?
