Building a new computer to fill my gaming needs, will these fulfill my needs? And my budget is $1600

I would change the CPU cooler for a coolermaster hyper 212 evo.

Also, a 650w PSu would be perfectly fine.

An 840 EVO or PRo would be a better choice than the normal samsung 840

The cooler you chose will be louder. I promise. Don't let that name fool you. you will be replacing the fans if you want a silent CPU cooler.

Everything looks good to me. That 7970 should be one of the quieter ones. It will not be silent by any means though.

The PSu is very good quality as well and should be very quiet.

Alright. I know that the Asus coolers are known for being the quieter ones of the bunch. I went with the PSU because I'm going to upgrade and crossfire.

Looks good. Make sure you use the correct PCI lanes when adding a second GPU. This is one of those tricky boards where there are 4 lanes but only 2 can really be used. only the top 2 will run at x8/x8 for CF. The others will run at x4 which will not add any performance from a second card.

It is not a problem. You won't be using more than 2 GPUs ever so its all good. Just use the correct PCI lanes. Thats all.

Yes, but it will have to be PCI because the PCI express slot will be blocked by the GPU. But, USB wifi adapters are always a solid choice. I have one.

If you are planning to game across wifi, forget it. For just normal internet use, any USB 300mbps wireless N adapter will be perfect.
