Hey guys, I've recently considered updating my old rig. It was a gift from my cousins after mine broke down. The only problem is it has an integrated Intel GMA 3100 graphics card which just can't hack gaming of any sort. I'm not a hardcore gamer but i really enjoy playing those games i used to play on my old system (half-life 2, CoD 4, Crysis).

I'm considering buying an used Nvidia 9600GT GPU 512MB off of Ebay.

Here are my specs:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L (http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3598#ov)
Operating System: Windows XP SP3 32 bit
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 HT (3.0 Ghz) (Can upgrade up to Core 2 Quad Extreme)
Graphics Card: Intel GMA 3100 G33/31, 384MB shared memory (Has a PCI-e expansion slot)
Ram: 1x 1GB DDR2 800mhz
HDD: 1x 180GB Sata 3
1x 80GB Sata 3
PSU: While i am unaware of the A values, I know it outputs 450 Watts (will post Label sticker if necessary)
1x DVD/CD Optical Drive

As you can see, it is a poor system based on today's standards and bottle necking is an issue i'm most likely expecting.

My old rig used to play Crysis on custom low (some medium settings) with:

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 HT (3.0Ghz)
Ram: 768 MB
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 6200 256MB
HDD: 80GB Sata 3
And a 400 Watt PSU

Any input and/or suggestion(s) would be appreciated and as always, Thank you guys HEAPS for your time.

Sincerely, Jasiek
