hard drive no intialize disk

Hi guys I have a problem with ky hard drive I just bought it last semptember 24 2013 and now it showing no initialize disk I cant even reformat what will I do help me

place your hand on the drive is it spinning?? if it not you have to send the drive back for replacement. if you have windows install cd boot from it and click on system repair. see if it see your hard drive. if it does not. check with the power off all of the cables are connected right. then boot up go into the bios make sure the sata ports are turned on .
