are xfx a good maker of this card?

i was previously going to get a powercolor version when priced at £177 (weirdly the exchange rate is ignored) but now the powercolor version actually costs £203 while still being £171 in the usa, why i dont know, my question is what are xfx like for making these? also are msi good or his? if the 7950 prices go up much further i may aswell get a 7970

Hi,

XFX and MSI are both very reputable graphics card makers. There are also other brands such as ASUS and GIGABYTE that are also leaders in GPUs. However, after a certain extent, the maker of the card isn't really that important. This is because, regardless of manufacturer, it will still be a 7950, and will still have that bare minimum performance that is expected. The only things that might change are the cooling on the cards and maybe things like GDDR5 memory. Apart from that they are all the same. If you are getting a good deal on the card and it has the ram that you are looking for, go for it. You wont regret buying an XFX card.

hope this helps!
