Experiencing some problems that reseating a CMOS battery resolves only temporarily so im hoping flashing the BIOS will resolve my problems before I have to go out and make any purchases or RMA anything.
I am using an MSI Z87-G43 motherboard. The BIOS version is E7816IMS V1.2. Im not using the M-Flash Utility as I've read here that its unreliable so im going to use a bootable USB-stick (DOS). Anyways, I was just a little confused as to what file to download:

I thought I would have to download the latest version (here it is V 1.5), but MSI instructs you to download the file that matches your motherboard and version number. So now im thinking I have to download V1.2. Just want to double check as I dont want to risk messing up my computer.
