Why is the gtx 600 series more expensive than the 700 series?

For example, the 680 is almost double the prose as the 770. Do the 600 series have better performance? I know the exception is the 780 since it's like 600$. So why this?

If your finding a GTX 680 higher priced than a GTX 770, you have probably found the 4gb version of the 680, and the 2gb version of the 770. As I cannot find a 680 priced cheaper than a 770. (both 2gb)

Well im not sure where your looking but i looked up a 680 for $330 and then looked up a 770 for around $410. So i guess i'm not sure what the question is?

I guess it depends on the brand your looking at. I found 680 EVGA, then the 770 was ASUS.

Same here, i kinda figured it was the 4gb version also.
