They are equally suited but the Gigabyte is higher clocked therefore will have a little bit higher performance.

None of them is better suited to a particular motherboard. It purely depends on the card itself, I have a couple Gigabyte Windforce 3x GTX 770's, and the cooler runs really well.

I cannot comment on the DCU II version as I haven't looked into it.

Either way it is down to you, I doubt you will see much of a difference between them.
