I recently installed a Samsung SSD Pro series and optimized the SSD for maximum performance, which thus changed my power option settings and now my CPU idles maxed out on 4.2ghz.
When I put it back to balanced it goes back to normal dropping to 800mhz and up to 4.2 when needed.
Wondering what other people have their power options set on? Even tho my OC in the ASUS Bios is set on adaptive it dosent seem to matter as my power settings are the main contributing factor.
