How can i free up space on C and D drives

I am gonna try to explain it as much as i can so i have 190 GB on C drive and 270 GB on my D drive when i mark every folder in C drive and i click properties to see how much space everything takes its good it says that it takes 170 GB and i do really have 20 GB free but when i go in my D drive and i mark all folders and i click properties it only shows 88 GB so i wonder where are those 200 GB because i deleted allot of programs from my computer and allot of games but i just cant seem to figure out where is all of my space on drives going can somebody help me please im going insane i need space on my drives and i only got 15 GB free space on D drive but it says that all files on D drive takes 88 GB of my space please help guys i also cant figure out what to do to delete something from C drive because i have only 2 games on C drive and not allot of folder so i cant figure out where is all of my GB going?

Hey man i got another question if you dont mind i found a file size 170 GB .VHD file and i found it in backup folder is ti possible that i made backup of entire C disk or something like that because 170 GB is big and if i delete it will my computer still run good?
