Hi,

Ive bought a an Msi radeon hd 7950 reference version and the cooler is absolutely loud.

That the $40 one?

I don't think it is better cooling them most stock systems, probably is quieter though.

The Extreme III gets decent reviews, though it is really long.

I used a pair of the Accelero Hybrids on two GTX580s in lieu of buying used water blocks and cards. Expensive, but I can't complain about the cooling.
