Internet Speed Dropped For Unknown Reason

Hello

My internet speed just drooped today like 15x for example yesterday i was downloading a game via uTorrent and the download speed was 9 - 11 mbps. Today i started to download a game with 200+ seeders and the download speed just barely gets up to 1 mbps. I'm using an asus laptop via Wifi and ethernet cable plugged in, do You guys know why this happened? Sorry english is not my native language sorry for mistakes.

THis could be for a lot of reasons. If there are others sharing the bandwidth, that will pull down you speed. With Fiber Optics, that isn't an issue, but with most others it is. When I say Bandwidth, think of it as a pipe. You can only move so much stuff through the pipe. If no one else is tapped into the pipe then you will get all of it, but the more people tapped into the pipe and the less you will get.

Yeah, but nothing else is connected to my router only my computer...

My internet speed was very good for like 5 months until this day... So what shall I do?

If you haven't already, you can try Resetting the router. Turn it off and unplug it from the Computer and the power source. Wait couple of minutes, then plug it in and turn it on. Wait until al the lights settle down then plug it in to your computer. Another thing to do is to clean out all of your Temp files and other Junk. You can use www.CCLeaner.com for this. If you are using Vista or Windows, could can click on start and then Type %temp% in the box then open the temp files and clean the out ( delete ).
