1866 RAM but CPU only supports 1600?

If CPU only supports 1600MHz and your RAM works at 1866MHz, they are going to lower down to 1600MHz

That's the recommended with the CPU at stock, the 4770K can run basically out there on the market - I run 32GB of 2666 with my 4770K, and have run up to 32GB of 2800. I generally recommend a minimum of 8GB 2x4GB 1866/9 with Haswell...withthe Sabertooth would suggest either the GSkill Trident or their Snipers
