Hi all!

So i am thinking of buying an amd radeon hd 7850 2GB as an upgrade for my old Nvidia GTS 450 1GB, will my current setup be able to handle it or do i have to upgrade anything?

Specs:
AXP 500W psp
Asus P8H61-M LE
Intel core i3 3,1 Ghz (thinking of upgrading this one too)
4 GB RAM.

Will the CPU bottleneck the GPU?
And will it work if i upgrade to an i5 later?

The CPU you have now should be okay. Of course, a faster/stronger one will do even better.

What specific model is your PSU?

On the PSU itself it says AXP-500P12P is that what you meant?

That is the info I needed. With a HD7850, that PSU should be okay. However, if you ever decide to upgrade the GPU beyond the HD7850 in the future, you should also upgrade the PSU. That is not the most robust PSU on the market.
