Hi Everyone!

I am going to buy an Xbox One and would like to buy a 24 inch monitor to game on it (mostly call of duty). I have been reading around and it looks the two best choice are the ASUS VG248QE or BenQ XL2420TE. Are there any monitors I should consider? Do you have a preference? Or is there a monitor I should wait for?

Thank you so much for the help! Really appreciate it.

No point in going for anything other than a 60Hz 1080p monitor, it certainly wont support higher refresh rates and though it may do higher resolutions it will be solely for movies, no games will run on the Xbone at higher than 1080p likely ever.

Isn't a 120Hz monitor better? Professional call of duty players seem to go that route.

The Xbone and PS4 don't support 120Hz.

I have the VG248QE and it is a great monitor for gaming and I would highly recommend it. But you would not get the full performance of the monitor if you are using an Xbox One so you could go with a cheaper monitor and get similar performance.

Go for the benq rl2455hm - http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-Official-Monitor-RL2455HM-24...

It' the official major league gaming monitor (alot of cod plagers use them) :)

The VG248QE sports a 1.6ms Input Lag at 60Hz and a 0.7ms Input Lag at 144Hz. Excellent monitor for 60Hz twitch FPS or RTS gaming.

There are some other cheaper options that don't support 120Hz or 144Hz. They don't have quite as good an Input Delay though.
