Can't change screen resolution

So the thing is, the question has been asked already in here. I'll repeat it again as there are a few changes that's not allowing me to stick to the previous answer. I own a eMachines eM350 and I recently installed Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit) over Win 7 Starter (32-bit) I'm not able to change my screen resolution at all. It is right now at 800*400 but I want it to be 1024*720 or anywhere close to that.

I tried to update it while Windows says, it's unable to do it. I think, my problem is pretty much similar to this one - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/54616-63-cant-change-screen-resolution
