I am going to create a nas server using the lian li pc-343b case and I have trouble choosing between these two cages:

The first one have more led indications, which I need, and the second one has better cooling, which I need also (I live in Greece so in the summer 40C in a normal temperature). Which should I choose? Is the cooling of the MB455SPF-B enough? Will it be a significant deference between these two? Does anyone have any experiences with any of them? Also I am open to any other suggestions.

Personally I wouldn't get either one and instead opt for a 6 drive cage or, in the case for IcyDock, two 3 drive cages. Assuming you will be running raid5 you'll want 5 drives for best performance and the 6th can be your hot spare.

If your planning on raid6 then get two of the one with the leds, it also has a fan on the rear for cooling. 6drives in raid6 plus 2 hot spares = 8 drives.

I will be using a 3x10 drive RAID-Z2 (8+2) configuration so a 3 to 5 cage with the pc-343b gives me exactly 30 disks. If I go for a 3 to 2 cage I will get a total of 27 disks which will give me 3x9 which in RAID-Z will be 8+1 (RAID-Z if the optimal config for 9 disks). So one disk and I am out. This is not such a good implementation I think. Also your suggestion doesn't have a led for failure. It is the same as the MB155SP-B. Only usage and power-on led.
