About two weeks ago I built a 650$ gaming computer with this:
MSI GEFORCE GTX760
Intel i5-3570k
As rock Z77 Extreme 4
Obviously other stuff but I don't think that's important for this question so it was working fine and was playing the bf4 beta on ultra perfectly fine and it was great, but I had an ether net cord running up to my computer from downstairs so I bought a Netherlands WG311v3 wireless adaptor so I could get rid of the cord so when it got here I installed it into my computer and my computer booted up fine but when I got in it wouldn't give me any options to connect to wireless so I shut down my computer took out the card and turned it back on, installed the drivers turned off my computer and when I reinstalled the card, I tried to boot up and it gave me a Windows 8 symbol and saying Preparing automatic repair then saying Diagnosing your Pc and then giving me a screen that says Automatic repair couldn't repair your Pc and this Log File: D:\Windows\System 32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt so I hit advanced options which gives me a screen saying Continue to Windows 8 which gives me a black screen or turn off pc or Troubleshoot which let's me Refresh Pc which gives me a black screen or reset pc which takes it to factory condition which always fails or there is advanced options which freezes my computer

Boot from your Installation Disk and choose 'Repair'
Troubleshooting
Advanced Options
CMD Prompt
Run SFC
Type sfc /scannow then Enter
Another possibility is System Restore to a point prior to installing the w'less adapter.
(Edimax Wi-Fi 150Mbps Mini USB Adapter might suit your needs?)
