I have 32gb of RAM (Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10)
They're setup in my BIOS as 1600hz, 10 10 10 27, 1T, DRAM V 1.500, Auto everything else.

What would be a safe OC that won't damage them?

test it with small increments first, and make absolutely sure they are stable, then move on and on until you like your speed(dont push the limit too much though)

Indeed. You may not get too far though. I can reach 2400MHz on my RAM, but that requires the latency to be set to 10 11 12 31 1T @ 1.55V, but my RAM is binned at CL8, yours is a little different and may not get the same results. Since your running DDR3 I would not worry about heat too much. DDR2 is the reason for heat-spreaders on RAM. Also, stability is very important. Otherwise you will get random crashes and BSOD.

Thanks for the responses. Here's my next question, my RAM has the option of using XMP which is the factory OC method if I so choose too.

When using XMP would that require me setting my hz back to auto, my timing back, DRAM Voltage to auto and pretty much all my RAM/DRAM settings back to auto for it to make the xmp corrections? Since my manual settings would be more of a override on what they have?

Not sure how that works.

Nvm, I figured it out. Reading into a couple of other posts.

Apparently have all manual RAM settings to auto. Set the XMP Profile 1 in BIOS then adjust your frequency you want.....(optional, go back and re-setup your ram timing to there settings), check DRAM Voltage to make sure it doesn't exceed 1.650v
