I'm going to be building my gaming pc very soon.
These are the parts.
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
CPU: i5-4670k 3.4GHZ
MOBO: MSI Z87-G45 GAMING
GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 770 TwinFrozr 4GB
RAM: Patriot Viper 8GB (2x4)
PSU: Corsair CX750
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB

Will I be able to run Battlefield 4 on Ultra setting? How much FPS?

Will you have a HDD or just that SDD?

If just the SDD then yes, but your computer will have limited space for anything else other than Battlefield 4 and a few other applications/games.

Other than that, yes you will be able to.

I will have HDD as well. I just didn't include it since I will be installing BF4 and main things to my SSD.

Um, that not how games work, the only difference will be fatser loading times. To answer OP's question, yes, yes you will. You may not be getting a solid 60fps, but it will definently be playable at ultra.

I would estimate 40 - 70 frames, I get around 45 - 90 on my 7970 (pre GHz edition)

What do you mean that's not how games work? I'm only talking about capacity here. If his computer only had a 120gb drive of memory then yes, he'd be able to run it, but would have limited space for anything else. The OS would cost over 30gb, so would the game, and that would leave the user with only 60 gbs to play with, that's a pretty small capacity there.

Luckily, the user will have an HDD as well so capacity won't be an issue.

My bad, thought you were talking about the speed of the HDD limiting games, carry on. :p

Impossible to say right now, you really can't take beta performance into account at all because optimization is always going to be shoddy at best, after a few driver updates and such, running at 1080p you should be fine running 70+ fps most of the time.
(this also depends heavily on what cpu you have)

why are there sooo many experts predicting that 770 4gb and other high end cards wouldnt run bf4 on ultra -_- yes it will with really good fps people are assuming off the beta which was really like a alpha build imo that setup is sweet! no worries!

Because Battlefeild 3 already yeilds 'meh' peformance on ultra, even with high end cards like the 680 and 7970...

Come to think of it, my 7970 would normally run at about 80fps at ultra, it was my 6850 that stayed around the 30 mark.
Oh, after AMD's driver patch I moved up around 20fps on bf3, so now I average about 110fps.

yes indeed and bf4 patches will be thick as usuall same with driver updates i srsly cannot see high end current gen and last gen being below 60fps after the last update dice used to correct those stuttering issues i was getting 60-110 fps and now that there implamenting with more core usage now a i7 would be a + and win8 for the directx 11.1
