Not sure which graphics card to get?

I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card so I can play all the next gen titles. I have about £300 pound to throw around. The GTX 770 has caught my eye and so has the AMD Radeon R9 280X.
But i'm not entirely sure what I should get, could someone help?

Note: Will be buying the card early January 2014.

If you're buying in 3 months, the question is a bit superfluous now, as what's in your price range will have changed by then, and perhaps your budget will have grown or shrunk...there will be more cards out by then and prices will probably be lowered...check back in late December :)

The 770 is a great card for you at this stage, but like Jaxem said, the market could be completely different in 3 months.

Whatever you do, make sure you get a card with 4gb of graphics ram, to future proof your purchase.

The wattage is fine for what you are driving. I think some cards amya have gotten up to around a minimum of 34a to 36a on the rail and maybe 38a and you do want to have some headroom there. More often than not, in order to get the headroom on tghe rails, you end up with overkill as far as the wattage goes.
