Simply as the title states. I'm looking to pick up a 7870 to replace my 560ti as I'm experiencing some stutters and fps dips in some games now, even though the 560 has hung in there for some time. Looking for an ati card this time around to take advantage of a possible crossfire in the future as my mobo supports it. What can I expect realistically in terms of performance gains with this card swap? Is it worth it and will it be very noticeable? Also, do the 7870s run hot and are they noisy? As I'd like to avoid that... If there is something better I can get for that price range please enlighten me, thank you.

I came across that earlier as well... Would you say any part of my current system would bottlekneck the 7870 or is it still in a good place?

I guess the Phenom would bottleneck it in CPU intensive or badly optimized games.
