So I bought this hd 7950 two months ago, along with a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 and a FX-8350.
That mobo has a PCIe x16 and a PCIe x4.
I'm thinking of buying another hd 7950 and crossfire, but...
It'll probably bottleneck, but how much? Much worse than a regular crossfire(using two PCIex16)?

Also, buying a new MoBo AND another hd7950 is out of hand, my country's taxes are unreal.
Can anybody help?
Thanks in advance!

>970 chipsets do not support sli/crossfire
Would you mind posting a link to the source of that information? Thanks in advance!

I learned this the hard way, bought a 970 mobo for my 8350.
technically you can do a CF on the 970 mobo but because of that second PCI x4 you will be bringing your first GPU's performance down, so a single gpu will do better on that board vs CF
I had to take out my second gpu 7950 to be able to use the first one to its 100%
