Black screen with new Graphics card.

I recently got my new graphichs card, gainward gtx 780 phantom, upgrading from my evga gtx 580. When ive put in the card the screen just goes totally black. Meanwhile the pc is booting just fine, and everything seems to be working except that. I've looked around and seen many had the same problems, and tried to follow those steps, but with no success :(
Are anyone capable of helping me solving this issue? :S

So I connected my dvi to the 2nd port of the gfx card and surprisingly it show display but.. its very laggy and I was downloading gfx drivers and then suddenly shuts down on its own. I tried a couple of times and the same thing happens. I think it might be a psu problem but I have a corsair cx 600 w and my gfx is a nvidia gtx 570 2.5g. I had my gfx carf replaace cause I thought that mightve been the problem. It was working fine a couple of months ago and then suddenly just started messing up.
