Hi there, i just rescently bought asus gtx 760 DC2 to upg my graphic card from asus gtx 295 because i was getting code 43? (any one know what is that? - i heard that graphic card is dead? basically i coudnt install drivers and i got some weird pixels on the loading screen) but anyway i got new asus gtx 760 but the only thing is i have 2 years old asus rampage II extreme which only support pc express 2 and my gtx 760 is pc express 3 and i think it might cause the problem...the thing is i installed new system - win 7 ultimate and also sp1, everything is installed properly untill i start playing game - league of legends, heroes of newerth, counter strike etc - at the begging my frame rate is 60-100 - works fine, and after while it drops, status keep saying 60 but i can see it, games slowing down, animations, everything going down, down untill is really unplayable - temperature of my graphic is 30-35 which is quite good - so what could be the problem? i reinstalled drivers (first i got from cd, the orginal one and than i got the newest one from gf experience) and it's a same thing, any ideas? it could be because of that pc express 2? or another thing...i used had on my cpu cooler master v8 and was old so i replaced my fan to stock one from the procesor box - my tem is ok, seems arround 40 +/- on cpu - its brand new, i never used that stock cpu cooler before so i don't know...iam out of options, i also tryed to overclock my card and same thing...pls help :

6GB Kingston HyperX DIMM DDR3 1600MHz (KHX12800D3K2/4G)
cooler master 750W (one month old)

well the games your playing are online games
not offline
so internet speed might be causing lag or the local servers or main servers are busy
or bugs

and
u dont need to worry about pcie e 3.0 or 2.0 versions
as long as its x16 instead of x8 or lower
the gpu would run fine

and try benchmarking some offline games
eg
arkham city 2011
black ops 2 2010
tomb raider 2013
anything you like

u'r definitely gonna get high fps

or use 3d mark vantage or other benchmarking softwares
compare scores online

my interent is perfect, 18 mb by myself, i just speed test and i had 31 ms, i never had lags in my life so it's defenetly not a internet, so you saying that pcie has nothing to with it? so what than? ;/ what about that stock cooler? mayby that's a problem?

well this part is optional : benchmark an offline game - eg arkham city i know that one has a benchmark option - at the end they show ave,min and max fps - for prooving that ur config is more than enough for gaming at the moment

and if you are facing this when loads of players are in the match you are playing - if yes - then its caused by busy servers
- grand theft auto v online is one recent example people could not even log in because the servers were that busy
- and LOL - is mmorpg - massively multiplayer.. - so loads of players log in
- its not surprising that you are getting lag
despite having a config like that and perfect net speed
