Computer won't turn on after upgrades - please help!

I just installed a new Apevia 650W PSU and a Gigabyte 7870 GPU into my Gateway DX4860-EF12P. When I go to turn it on, the PSU, GPU, CPU fan, and cooling fan all turn on but don't stay on for more than a second. Any ideas?

Thanks, but now that I've plugged the 4-pin connector into the mobo for the cpu, (which was the step I forgot), the computer won't even start. Could the psu be fried after all the attempts to start the computer?
