I'm just looking for a cable that can replace the horrid Vantec PCI SATA controller card I'm using for my 2 extra HDDs. The damned thing costs me 30 seconds MORE of boot/BIOS time! Otherwise, it takes a measly 12.9 seconds to reach my desktop. Not to mention the card is placed tightly between two-way SLI cards. I'm sure thats not delightful for the bus. The HDDs are placed like any other in my system, they all get their power from the PSU. So, I just need 2 cables that possibly convert SATA to USB, hopefully SuperSpeed to get as close to SATA speeds as possible. All I'm finding on the net is 22-pin (data+power) adapters, I don't need nor want the power plug on the cable. Thanks a bunch in advance for all your help!

You may also use a USB 3 to e-sata with an e-sata to sata cable.
