Direct X 11.1 worth it?

I wanted to know if it was worth upgrading to windows 8.1 because of directx 11.1. I have a GTX 760 FTW and a FX 8320. I wanted to know, does directx 11.1 have any graphic improvements, for example on battlefield 4? Is it worth it? THANKS!

I don't think there are many games that actually use DirectX 11.1. That said, supposedly BF4 runs a good deal faster on Windows 8 compared to Windows 7, however that was during the Beta, I'm not sure if that difference will carry through to the final product. I'd say wait until the game comes out and the final version gets benchmarked, and see then if there is enough of a performance difference to justify spending the money on Windows 8.1.
