Best RAM money can buy?

Hi all!

First off, I understand that RAM does not offer the best performance increases for the money. I am fully aware of the fact that the real world performance differences between different DIMM's is minimal.

Basically, I just want to know what the best RAM is money can buy today? Going by the assumtion that you have the best mobo and CPU config for memory performance.

Just a general query really, I'm not exactly going to go out and splash out £700 on a set or Corsair Dominator Platinums anytime soon, if you know what I mean. XD

You actually hit it right on the nose, Corsiar Dominator Series is going to be one of the top sticks of RAM out there.

You can check out reviews of almost anything here: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/

Actually the Best DRAM is GSkill, and generally they have the best prices also, they are the company all the others are following, Corsair just came out with a 32GB set of 2400 sticks a few months ago, (3 I think) and GSKill has had multiple sets out there since at least May of last year, also set numerous OC records with their Trident sticks at the recent Computex show

Can't find anything else to match the OC headroom, dependability No failures in over 5 years, prob go through about 55 sets a year, between new builds, testing and upgrades....have a number of folks that often specify other sets (i.e. Corsair, Mushkin......nobody really even asks about Crucial, Kingston, anymore).....and even with those that specify other, many often change to GSkill...
