I have actually allready asked this before... but i did point out a wrong power supply and therefore i am once again in doubt wether i can pull this set up off or not.. The last thing i want to do is buying parts I cant use.. :(

I am pretty determined on buying another 7850 card due to the fact that i allready now can feel my system becoming more and more outdated with battlefield 4 and other new games right around the corner.
Its a desktop pc, and i am using 2 screens, one for gaming connected to the 7850 and one for facebook etc running on motherboard.
I am not very clever as far as upgrading goes and i am not sure wether my system can handle crossfire or not, or if i will have to do more upgrades to ensure playability of the upcoming games.
My specs are:
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3550 CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 8088MB RAM DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Radeon hd 7850 OC edition
Powersupply: 750W antec hcg-750

Am i able to mount another GPU? Will the power supply do the trick?
Also, both GPU's have 2gb ram dedicated, and as a little bonus question.. Should i also upgrade my 8gb's of ram or is 8 and 4 dedicated fine?

I'm no expert, but I think I can give you a good enough answer. First off: Your MOBO has to be compatible with CrossfireX. Check to make sure of that before doing anything. Second: Your CPU and RAM are fine, you shouldn't need to upgrade for this Crossfire. Third: Your PSU should do the trick but probably just barely. Instead of doing the Crossfire, you might want to think about just upgrading your single GPU. Maybe to this one since the deal is quite nice.

This card will run BF4 at max settings no problem. 60FPS~ once the game is released and optimized.

So this is the case,
your psu is enough to crossfire even two 7970's, i dont know your mobo, but im guessing that it has multiple pcie ports, your ram is quite enough for the next year or two, so an upgrade is not needed, but i would suggest, if its in your budget sell the 7850 and buy the 7970, i believe you would get much better performance with one very powerful card, instead of 2 mediocre ones, you also dont have to go through the pain which is crossfire, and also 7970 is a much better option for dual monitor setup, since you have 3 gb of vram. And remember, if you crossfire 2 7850's you won't have 4 gb of vram.

First things first.

-8 gb of ram is plenty there is no need for more than that.
-The power suply is fully capable of handling 7850CF.
-What is your Mobo? It may not suport CF (altough i doubt it doesnt)

What i would recommend you to do is(if you have the budget) upgrade the card to a single more powerfull card, in most cases this is the most beneficial solution, SLI and CF are ussualy unstable things and you never really know if it will perform better than a single card (one that is at least 2 tiers up in the list).

A 7850 goes for around 150, your used one could still easly sell for around 100 (depending). If you are willing to spend, that is the money to get a GTX760 or a 7950. Wich is much more stable than dual cards, and in the future since you have a good PSU you can SLI/CF to get a titan like performance.

Hope this helps

The psu could handle even 2 7970's, what are you talking about, he has true power 750w, its an antec psu, that is what i run in my rig.

Thank you for all the quick answers!
The only reason for me wanting to go crossfire is because i am on a low budget and cant afford a brand new high end card. Maybe if i sold my 7850, but it is not even sure if i will be able to sell it...
I found this article with some cf Benchmarks:
http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/4798/his_radeon_hd_7850_iceq_x_turbox_2gb_in_crossfire_video_card_review/index.html

But you are all talking about "mobo", what is that? Motherboard? PCIE ? Im not that pc wise, but you mean slots for graphic cards? And i have 2 of those and the motherboard even advertise itself being "xfire compatible".
But when reading all your answers a lot of you recommend i buy a new and more powerfull card.. The only problem really is that i am on a budget which is 300$ (including extra casefans).. And also i live in Denmark, and i have to buy my parts here to get a good waranty and Denmark is a VERRY expensive country.
I find it verry hard to find benchmarks and reviews on 7850 cf, but i remember once seeing that this setup was just a small step behind a gtx titan! But im not sure.. But i am on a low budget. Is it worth my time and money going crossfire?
-And im happy to hear that my psu will do the job!
